John the Cowboy
Music is a big part of John’s
life. A guitar player, years ago he created a mythical band called “Johnny
Chargecard and the American Express.” The band’s big gig each year was an
outdoor concert at the Dillon, CO amphitheatre on New Year’s Eve where the
temperature probably would be around 15 to 20 degrees. “Now that Johnny Cash and
Johnny Paycheck are gone,” he says, “it’s up to Johnny Chargecard to carry on.”

Musician Bill Danoff in his back yard in Washington, DC. Music is a great part of John’s life and through John Denver met his best
friend, Bill Danoff, after a concert at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los
Angeles. John has produced several concerts featuring Bill and other top
musicians, mostly benefits for the American Alpine Club. |
